Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State Chapter has called on its members in the state to revalidate their membership status.
The revalidation exercise according to a press release signed by SWAN secretary in the state, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji is for both full and Associate members of the association.
He enjoined members to contact the State Secretary of the association or visit the SWAN Secretariat at MKO Abiola stadium, Kuto in Abeokuta to upgrade their membership status.
The revalidation and registration exercise According to SWAN scribe, would begin on Friday, 28th August and ends on Saturday, 31st October, 2020.
He said the exercise would allow the state Secretariat to have comprehensive list of its members in the state.
The Association also calls on qualified, but practising Sports writers and presenters in the state who wish to join the Association to obtain their membership form at the SWAN Secretariat, Wing C of the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto in Abeokuta.
Ogunsiji noted that any member who fails to register or update his membership status on/or before the stipulated date stands disqualified from the Association.
