It was a sad news when some students of the federal university of technology Akure (FUTA) put a call through to the Chairman of the Axis as early as 8:45am that a bus was involved in a Ghastly motor Accident. Our Reporters gathered some informations that the bus belonging to a religious association on campus(RCF) was on their way to Ibadan on a missionary journey, on getting to IBULE town in AKURE,ONDO STATE the bus driver who's was on high speed tried his best possible to avoid an on-coming cyclist (motorcycle) so as to meet up for their programme scheduled in ibadan.
As at 2:50pm the students involved in the accident are up to 14-16 whereas 4 has been confirm dead and others are receiving treatment in the undisclosed specialist hospital, the NANS JCC chairman of ondo state Comr Atolusi Damilola Anthony said he Urged Nigerian students at large, most especially Ondo State students to Continue with their prayers because it is only God's intervention that we need in ONDO state, he also send his condolence greetings to the families of the students involved. Furthermore, he also sympathize with the SUG officials and the JCCF executives and also the entire staffs and management of FUTA
The chairman then use this medium to urge student union and associations leaders to drive carefully and not to over speed when traveling to long distance.
