Police in Sabo Yaba have arraigned a Man Lukman Babatunde for stealing items from a Supermarket in Yaba, Trolleys Superstore. The 63 years old man was arrested after being caught on the CCTV camera in the supermarket pocketing items like Toothpaste, Dettol soap and Black label wine. After he was apprehended, he was handed over to the Men of the Sabo Yaba Police Station who have wasted no time to arraign him in court.
Mr Lukman Babatunde however pleaded not guilty before the Magistrate and was granted bail immediately to the tune of fifty thousand naira and two sureties. The case was adjourned to the 26th of June 2019. While filling this report, Mr. Lukman is yet to meet up his bail conditions and has been remanded in prison.
