ASD SPREADS TENTACLES TO EKITI, INDUCT NEW MEMBERS

Following its successful and aggressive mobilization of members throughout the country and in the southwest to be specific, the Alliance of Social Democrats, ASD, has again taken another giant  step with the  induction of 35 party leaders in Ekiti state.


Admonishing the members, the Deputy National Chairman of ASD, Otunba Akin Akinbobola charged the new members to preach the ideology of the party to everyone without discrimination, with emphasis on the nooks and crannies of Ekiti State.


Responding on behalf of the thirty  five leaders in attendance, Mr Babayemi Thompson expressed joy over the emergence of ASD in Ekiti State and promised to uphold the ideology and vision of the party and canvass more members for the true rebirth of the nation at large.


He further commented on the leadership style of other parties in Ekiti State which he said have neglected the people and turned to parties with selfish interests without putting the masses at heart and therefore showered encomium on ASD for setting a workable plan that is all encompassing.


Mr Paul Olowoyeye was unanimously picked as the Ekiti State Coordinator while some of the members in attendance were Mr Tajudeen Gbadamosi, Mrs Tolulope Ogidan, Pastor Stephen Oladejo, Mrs Idowu Adenijo,  Elder Babayemi Thompson, Comrade Adefemi Ojo  and the Ondo State ASD secretary, Mrs Omogbehin Owei

Others are Dr Mathew Ibitoye, the Ondo State Deputy State Coordinator of the ASD, Mrs Adekemi Akerele, Mrs Mary Omoniyi, and the Deputy national chairman of the ASD Otunba Akin Akinbobola.
