In preparation for the celebration of Bishop David Oyedepo's 70th birthday coming up on 27th September, 2024, Ondo State Winner's Chapel Church has kick started the celebration in advance with diverse Infrastructural projects across the three senatorial districts of Ondo State.

During a media chat with the State Pastor, Pastor Dapo Olumuyiwa, he stated some already completed projects while some are still ongoing, ranging from Water Boreholes, Solar Powered Street Lights, Books for orphans and food stuffs for the less privileged.

Intercourse might be permissible or not permissible during Ramadan depending on who you do it with and when it is done. Intercourse with a legal partner can be done at night after Iftar while it is forbidden with an illegal partner in the morning or night, during or after Ramadan. Below contains an explicit explanation

Praise be to Allah.

Intercourse during the day in Ramadan is haram for men and women alike, who are obliged to fast during the day. Doing that is a sin for which expiation (kaffarah) must be offered.

Expiation for having intercourse during Ramadan

The kaffarah is to free a slave; if that is not possible then the person must fast for two consecutive months; whoever is not able to do that must feed sixty poor persons.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whilst we were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a man came to him and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I am doomed!” He said, “What happened?” He said, “I had intercourse with my wife when I was fasting [in Ramadan].” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Are you able to free a slave?” He said, “No.” He said, “Are you able to fast for two consecutive months?” He said, “No.” He said, “Can you feed sixty poor persons?'' He said, “No.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remained silent for a while, and whilst we were like that, a large vessel of dates was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said, “Where is the one who was asking?” He said, “Here I am.” He said, “Take these and give them in charity.” The man said, “Is there anyone more poor than me, O Messenger of Allah? For there is no household between the two harrahs (lava fields – i.e., in Madinah) that is poorer than my household.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) smiled until his eye teeth could be seen, then he said, “Feed it to your family.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1834, 1835; Muslim, 1111)

[b]Intercourse during the night in Ramadan

[/b]With regard to intercourse during the night in Ramadan, this is permitted and is not forbidden, and the time when it is permitted lasts until the onset of dawn. When dawn comes, intercourse becomes forbidden.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“It is made lawful for you to have sexual relations with your wives on the night of As-Sawm (the fasts). They are Libas [i.e. body-cover, or screen, or Sakan (i.e. you enjoy the pleasure of living with them] for you and you are the same for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He turned to you (accepted your repentance) and forgave you. So now have sexual relations with them and seek that which Allah has ordained for you (offspring), and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night), then complete your Sawm (fast) till the nightfall.” [al-Baqarah 2:187]

This verse clearly states that it is permissible to eat, drink and have intercourse during the nights of Ramadan until dawn.

After having intercourse it is obligatory to do ghusl, then pray Fajr.

On April 4, 2021, the revised New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures was released in Igbo. This is in addition to the Yoruba, Isoko, and Efik languages. The city of Warri experienced a joyous atmosphere on February 15, 2021 as a  Popularly Warri Clergyman, Snr Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, General Overseer of Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministries, Warri, Delta State Nigeria marked his 50th birthday anniversary.

Former President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who was  congratulated Snr Prophet Fufeyin on his golden Jubilee celebration, admonished him to keep doing good works in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ. 

Jonathan described the celebrant and philanthropist as pride of the Niger Delta, Nigeria and the world at large.

Imploring him to continue offering good services to humanity, the former president urged others to emulate his kind gestures of love, tender kindness and care to all.

Dignitaries who attended include: Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Former Governor of Imo State, Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Sen. December 27, 2020 was a day of blessing encounter as Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin met with is long time friend Pastor Dominic Nwoko of Mountain of Fire Ministry who paid a visit to Prophet Omoto and he is still serving in Mountain of Fire, Delta State. Amidst church service in Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministry, Delta State, Nigeria.

In 2011 whenever there is heavy rain fall, Prophet Jeremiah’s church building and properties usually get submerged in flood. This was a setback of this ministry about ten years ago

One day Pastor Dominic had a dream and told Prophet Fufeyin what his ministry would look like three years after the vision. In the dream Pastor Dominic told the Prophet that he saw ‘mansions, Big City inside the church premises of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministry, foreigners trooping into the church, and some of them trying to see the man of God’.

On noticing Pastor Dominic in the congregation, the Senior Prophet called him out, exchanged pleasantries, both of them recalled how far God has brought them and the dream Pastor Dominic had about this ministry some years ago, Pastor Dominic narrated his ordeals doing ministry work and a few life challenges, the Senior Prophet seeing the way he dressed to church knew that all was not well with him, he had compassion to bless Pastor Dominic with a car, N200,000 cash gift and N1,000,000 for stipend. Worshippers reacted to this show of love by the Philanthropist cum man of God, as congregant prayed for God to continually bless the Prophet and his ministry to grow from grace to grace. 

To the glory of God on Thursday 31st of December 2020, during the Cross Over night service those gift items were delivered to Pastor Dominic.2
