The youths in the four local governments area of Akoko, the largest ethnical group in Ondo state, have announced the decision to hold its first congress on 31st of August 2018.

In a statement signed by the transition committee chairman, Comrade Ogedengbe Bamidele and made available to the press by the transition committee secretary, Mr. Dada Godwin, the youths noted the need for a drastic action as regards the infrastructural decay and insecurity in the region. The Congress is to bring together all the youths in Akoko to forge a common front in confronting these menace.
The congress will hold in Oroke High school, Akungba Akoko on the 31st of August 2018 as contained in the statement.
