The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan, has mourned with the Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola over the death of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola.
In a press statement released by his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Comrade Moses Olafere, Ooni described Aregbesola's mother as an epitome of motherhood worthy of emulations by any reasonable woman with desire of raising successful children through whom she would be forever celebrated.
Ooni Ogunwusi who is currently on a private visit in London urged the good people of the state and Yoruba race in general to join Governor Aregbesola and siblings in the Celebrations of their mother who had laboured through the ups and downs to raised him with discipline, virtues and Godliness today reflecting in the life of the Governor.
"Mama Olobi, you are such a wonderful mother that will forever be celebrated by all and emulated by other good mothers who desire to raise children that will be blessings to the society like your children one of whom is the current Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola who has always conducted himself in an enviable manner reflecting the Godliness, discipline and good virtues with which you had raised him. He is indeed an Omoluwabi per excellence."Ooni said
He however prayed that may the soul of the deceased rest in peace and may the Almighty Allah uphold the Governor as he continues to take Osun to greater heights".
