The screening of 18 commissioner nominees earlier scheduled for today by the Ondo State House of Assembly has been rescheduled for Monday.
A top principal officer confided in nigeriancablenews.com that the screening was postponed till Monday for some bills in need of urgent attention.
The lawmakers are presently sitting but the screening of the nominees is not among items on the order paper for the day.
Meanwhile, all the eighteen commissioner nominees who were at the Assembly complex in the early hours of today had a brief meeting with the committee on selection and screening.
They however left when it was obvious that the screening would no long hold today and refused to talk to journalists at the Assembly complex on the development.
