hands with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye

Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
The residents of the ancient city were showing their grievances towards the action of the monarch , saying that the action is unacceptable and disgraceful.
According to a medical doctor who resides in the town, Dr. Oluwasegun Olaoluwa said he was very disappointed with the Oba of Lagas when he heard the news.
He stated further that Oba Akiolu has displayed archaic love for disunity and has created unnecessary rivalry.
A trader, Mrs Olonade Olaitan expressed that it is very unfortunate that the Oba of Lagos has disgraced himself not the Ooni of ife.
"If it were to be in the ancient age where tradition still prevail, all the monarchs would be on their feet whenever the Ooni comes in."
An Ile ife based Islamic Cleric, Ustaz Habeeb Gidado described the Oba of Lagos has a rude person for insulting the Ooni.
He stressed that whatever the age of Ooni, he holds sway for the Yoruba nation and he should be respected for the stool as the ambassador of God on earth.
However, Majority of the residents called on the southwest leaders, stakeholders, Lagos elites and renowned citizens to kick against such insult and called on Oba Akiolu to order.
