ONDO State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the November 21 election Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) has promised to use his experience of over seven years in government to make profound statement with governance, if elected.
The former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General said his position as an integral part of the Governor Olusegun Mimiko administration has given him an insight into what could be done to raise the bar of governance.
Fielding questions from reporters in Akure at the weekend, the senior lawyer said the challenges of the time demand that the best hand is engaged to address them.
Jegede added that he would rely on his understanding of the state and its people as well as his experience as part of the administration for over seven years to identify targets and drive same.
Insisting that legacies of previous administrations would be protected, the PDP candidate added that he has perfected a blueprint for job creation and the growth of the state's economy to the desired position.
