PREAMBLE

The National Association of University Students' (NAUS) is the highest decision making body for students studying in institutions of higher learning from the university cadre with over twenty (20) million members both in Nigeria and her diaspora which in Nigeria has her National Executives, Zonal Executives and States Executives which are the Campus Monitoring Committee (CMC) in which Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH) is a member of the association, fully committed to the main streaming of students and young leaders in governance at all levels with the core interest of protecting the dignity, integrity and uniting the students for the academic excellence.

OSUSTECH UPDATE

The Leadership of National Association of University Students Campus Monitoring Committee Ondo State write to remind the Vice-chancellor that he initially imposed two weeks break on the students. And where on earth has it been said that a well coordinated University leaves for a semester break without an examination.

A Concrete evindence came to us yesterday we are able to make all enquiries and get all this facts the school is having only #424,000 in their account.The acting vice chancellor is hindering the appointment of a new vice chancellor. The school is presently in a state of keforfy. The union workers demand all their outstanding salaries before they can resume.The school venture is literally run at loss.The acting vice chancellor is unable to account for the 50million naira subvention released to him for salaries. As it stands he didn’t even wish we resume back, as the elongation of his tenure is the topmost priority. And the life of Nigerian Students are been toyed with here. Semester break now 2 months strike. despite the fact that the state of the nation is not favourable the vc now thinks he can spend our fund out of human feelings.

And what the association beleive is that in every struggle there are 3 formula of ALUTA i.e the 3C”S

CONFRONTATION
And we have patiently used the 1st and 2nd formula. It is high time we use the third formula .i.e the CONFRONTATION.

OUR DEMAND

The school management has been given 72 hours to foster our resumption back to campus.

Appointment of a new visionary vice chancellor with immediate effect.

Immediate closure of the venture and celt so far it is not generating any fund for the university, till we have a visionary Vice chancellor.

Proper documentation of the school account.

OUR PLEA
The Association plead with the entire Nigerian students of Osustech to please come down to school to occupy PROF ADEGOKE ADEGBITE. He is really playing with our lifes.
Our Siwes students have all loose thier placement.
Our Final year students are fixed.
We the remaining students cant move forward again.
Please we need u all so that our life wnt be jeopardized.
