Oba Olusegun Taiwo Makinde was crowned as His Royal Majesty, The Olu of Kajola-Akile-Eleweran by His Imperial Majesty Oba Ogunwusi, The Ojaja II, Ooni of Ile-Ife, on the 28th July, 2022, at the ancient palace of Odùduwà in Ilé-Ife while he was the Baale of the same community for 10 good fruitful years.
Oba Makinde was born in Ile-Ife, on the 11th November,1972 to the family of Late Pa Philip Makinde of blessed memory and Chief (Mrs.) Emilia Makinde, the Iyalode of Ogbagba, Ile-Ife.
Oba Makinde is a seasoned Timber Contractor and Artisan who has accumulated great experience for over 30 years. Oba Makinde is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Stmakindex Integrated Services Limited and Makindex Interiordeco, which was established 1999 and 2019 respectfully.
Oba Makinde has contributed immensely to the overall success of many forums such as, Ogbagba Youth Forum, Ilesanmi Omolere group, Orisunbare group and others as either Treasurer or Chairman.
Oba Makinde is blessed with so many gifts, which is of great factor to his rulling success. He is an endowed orator and full of wisdom.
Kajola-Akile-Eleweeran is made up of four zones, with so many private Schools, Nursery, Primary and Secondary along with some higher Institutions under construction.
Moreover, the Town Accommodates the popular OAU Progressives Housing Estates, Palm Grove Estate, Industries etc. Inclusive of religious centres such as the Redeemed Christian Church of God Camp Ground etc.
