Ondo Reps by-election: APC Progressive Movement Drums Support for Sunday Falae

A youth group within the All Progressive Party of Ondo State, APC Progressive Movement, at the weekend made a case for the choice of the famous Akure Kingdom philanthropist, Hon. Sunday Falae.

The group, in a statement in Akure, stated that Hon Falae is best suited to fly the party’s flag for the vacant position of House of Representatives member, representing Akure South/North federal constituency.

The position became vacant following the death of its occupant, Hon. Adedayo Omolafe on August 16, this year.

In the statement by its coordinator, Ogbeni Abiloro Feranmi ASAYE and secretary, Opeyemi Akande, the group described Falae as a round peg in a round hole, considering his unwavering party loyalty, dedication and wealth of experience in diverse field.

“Here is a man who has touched many lives in not only his constituency but in the entire Ondo State.

“His antecedent as a successful business tycoon and his wealth of experience in modern days technology that rules the world makes him fit for the position than anybody”

The group added that Falae has been a loyal party member whom has been with the party and giving succor to not just the party members but the general public.

“Here is someone we can vouch for that, once he gets to Abuja, he is there with our interest at heart,” the group averred.

‘We believe that this time around, the pendulum should swing in favour of an Akure man whom has given more without been in power” the group admonished.

It, however, expressed its deep sympathy to the widow, children, other family members and friends of the late former federal lawmaker, Omolafe, popularly called Expensive, praying God to comfort them on the sudden passage
