Ayodele Olawande popularly known as Ayo Wisdom, an indigene of Akure, Ondo State, is a prominent entrepreneur in Ondo State and Nigeria and has been actively involved in politics since 2009: a move he described as “his passion” in a speech he delivered at a Manifesto while contesting for the post of the Deputy National Leader of the All Progressives Congress during the 2018 convention.
Born on the 8th of April in Akure to the family of Akogun at Ijofi quarters and Fatoyinbo respectively, Ayo Wisdom started his primary education at Police Children School Akure after which he proceeded to Christ's School Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State. He bagged a professional certification in Cinematography and Photography at Lagos State WAPA Egbeda. He also attended Federal University of Technology, Akure where he studied Industrial Design after which he proceeded to study Civil Engineering at Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti. Ayo Olawande is presently studying International journalism at University of Maduguri.
He has always displayed quality leadership traits with much enthusiasm on youth engagement in decision making and development of human resources which without doubt starts at the youthful stage of man. He is an icon of leadership whose principles centers on unity, responsibility, human capacity development, understanding the value of listening, innovation among others.
Ayo wisdom have served well politically and in his private businesses. He contested for the post of the Deputy National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress in 2018 and served in various federal government departments before he won the Ondo State Youth Leader APC seat. He was a former ward 9 Akure South Auditor of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN); Co-Founder, Action Youth Movement (AYM); Member, Ondo Youth for Aketi (ACN); Former Ondo State Coordinator AGF; Former Southwest Co-coordinator (AGF); Ondo State Coordinator, All Progressive Youth Forum (APYF); and Former ICT Director, All Progressives Congress (APC).
He also served as a Member of the Convention Committee of the All Progressives Congress; the committee on Kogi State Governorship election; State Congress committee 2018 in Kogi State; Ward Congress of Appeal Committee; the All Progressives Congress Committee in Edo State; Member, Local Government Congress Appeal Committee; All Progressives Congress 2021 Edo state; and member, State Congress Committee, Kastina State. Member, presidential campaign committee Youth and student 2015; Member, presidential campaign council Youth 2018; Member, communication committee Aketi /Ayedatiwa campaign; Member, souvenir/gift committee Aketi/Ayedatiwa.
His drive towards business cannot be undermined as much as his political achievement. He is the site Administrator of Great Phlosca Investment (GPI), a former IT personnel of Total Plc, He is also a site administrator/Engineer of Renz Nig Ltd; Director, Monitoring National Examinations Council (NECO); Field Officer on Secondment to the Project Delivery office of the MSME Survival Fund ; Consultant, IDP/NSIP NSIO, Office of the Vice President of Nigeria; Former Personal Technical Assistant, SA Job Creation and innovation, Office of the Vice President of Nigeria; Director of Business, TE Hub; Director of Operation, LAH Homes.
Ayodele Olawande Wisdom is an associate of the Give Back Group, the renowned and highly rated Pentagon Movement Group and the Progressives Youth Stakeholders (PYS) and presently the State Youth leader of APC in Ondo State.
