NANS ZONE D, National Association of Akure Students Gives Food Items to Students

Students of Ondo state  in their hundreds show their appreciation as palliatives were given to cushion the effect of Covid 19.

As Covid 19 has been rampaging some countries all over the world with Nigeria inclusive in the last 6 months, several institutions, organisations, religious bodies, both federal and state governments have put different measures in place in other to cushion the effect of this deadly virus.

Some of the measures put in place were sensitization programs and various awareness program  through social media, television programs and health programs to help enlighten people on how they can protect themselves and also to stop the spread of the virus. Other measures put in place is the distribution of palliative to people especially the needy, students, physically challenged, the aged etc by different institutions such as banks, religious bodies, individuals etc. in order to cushion the effect of the virus. To this effect, a programme was organised by Amb Ibukun Samuel the Nans zone D AGS and in collaboration with National Association of Akure students give food items to the Students.

Leadership of the palliative committee Comrade Ogundipe Seyi Olaniyi appreciate Comr Ibukun Samuel for the philanthropical gesture shown to students. Some of the items distributed include Rice, Garri, Noodles, vegetable oil, facemask and hand sanitizer. The program which was honored by Deji of Akure land, present Naas and past executives, journalists, security personnel and senior comrades within Ondo state and Nigeria at large.  The students show their appreciation to the initiator and palliative committee for putting them at heart in this perilous time. The chairman of the committee Comr Sy mighty presented food items to over 150 students who benefited from the palliatives.

Some of the beneficiaries, Miss Akinfiresoye Leah Tolulope of the Ekiti state University (EKSU), appreciated the gesture, describing it as a show of love, happiness, Joy and for the betterment of humanity, Miss Adegbite Aduragbemi of Federal university of technology , Akure, said that the palliative would be a great relief for hundreds of students, even as she pray to God to bless the initiator and the committee, Akinlolu Hannah from federal polytechnic Ado said  the palliative will integrate and harmonized all Akure speaking community.
