The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Comrades (NANC) as a body for the defense of the interests of Nigerian Comrades standing for positive Change has sound a vibrating message of agitation voicing for the voiceless masses of Oyo state to the Oyo state Government over the unconditional release of a popular Oyo state based people's activist who happened to be a former staff of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo state (BCOS) by the Government of Oyo state allegedly being oppressed because of his passion to defend the common masses of Oyo state through his profession as a freelance broadcaster to unveil bitter facts of secret misdeeds from the influential personalities to the common masses of the state as been allegedly reported to the NANC National leadership.
The NANC leadership who recently received this disheartening information of the detainment of this popular Ibadan- based freelance broadcaster after many arrests, suspension and other forms of threat from the Oyo state Government as been allegedly reported.
The NANC leadership has learnt that Mr. Oriyomi Abdulrahman Hamzat who has been trailed with threats since he started a particular On- Air radio program where he exposes naked facts of terrible incidents that has been secretly happening in the state and call the cautioning attention of the common masses to prevent themselves from being affected in the terrible incidence.
It's really disheartening that there could still be a governmental oppression on our armless freedom fighters in a metropolitan state like Oyo state where there are numerous educationally and politically sound elites preaching the righteous effective of Fundamental human rights in our various community.
Therefore; with a total rejection of governmental and every form of oppression in our community call on the Government of Oyo state and particularly our progressive Governor of Oyo state - Sen. Abiola Ajimobi to rescue this matter on time and let truth cum plain justice prevail on Mr. Oriyomi Hamzat and his lawyer being denied access to meet him in detention.
Furthermore; we urge the Oyo state Government to let the constitutional justice prevail and grant Mr. Oriyomi Hamzat his constitutional right as being prescribed under the law of the land.
We hereby call on the Law enforcement agencies, our sisters National and international Human right Agencies, Political and Government stakeholders in Oyo state to join our moving train of implementing positive change in our Nation and ensure the unconditional release of this people's Activist.
