YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE YOUR REPRESENTATIVES,CHIEF ANTOZ CLAMOURS

Reiterates the importance of registering for voter's cards.

Akinyemi Samuel -- Monday, March 12, 2018

Atolusi Damilola Anthony (Chief Antoz),former Chairman NANS JCC ONDO AXIS, current Coordinator of Nigerian Youth  for Good Governance (NYGG), Ondo state Chapter and an aspirant as a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akure south constituency II, made this comment on Saturday morning while addressing youths at Oke Ogba community during his visitation to the ongoing construction of 7km road by the State Government.

“You have the right to choose your representatives"

“Choosing your representatives gives you incredible assess and chance  to get your agitations and needs attended to"

“Most importantly, the primary role for the citizens should be to choose an advocate for the people of the city. Someone that can represent their true interests at all governmental levels". "There are many issues that will come before us in the next four years. They include transportation issues like roads, employment and many more. In addition, we need to strengthen our community foundations to bring more dividends of democracy to our people.

“Second, in order to achieve this,it is salient and very cogent that our people gets their voter's card as this is the only platform through which they can choose and elect their representatives. Without the voter's card, it is very difficult and impossible to choose representatives that can agitate for your interests".

“Third, now is the time for our people to come out in their large numbers and get registered for their voter's card as this will enable them subsequently to vote in their representatives at all governmental levels across the state and nation at large.

“I believe that the foundation of any thriving community should include credible leaders and representatives.  If we want to actualize our dreams of a better Ondo state,of a better Nigeria, then we must work now by doing the needful - get registered, obtain voter's card and vote wisely during elections.

“I look forward to a positive response from our people, meeting citizens, and tackling challenges.”
