The current executives of National Association of Mass Communication Students(NAMACOS), Daily Part-Time Programme (DPT), Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, executives have commenced tutorial for newly admitted students in the department.
The tutorial has started with the attendance of more than 50 students at African Middle School, Plastona, Iree, on 19th of March.
Our correspondent gathered that the free tutorial was conducted by the Namacos Editorial Board (NEB) on behalf of the Namacos Executives to ensure effective teaching.
In an exclusive interview with our correspondent, the Namacos president, Adeniyi Atapa said he has succeeded in executing the free tutorial for the benefits of the new students are in the department.
"I'm really impressed with the positive turn up of the Nd1 students concerning the tutorial handled by the Namacos Editorial Board, I can assure everyone that the Namacos executives are ready to give full support to every Dpt Mass Communication students concerning the academy section.
"The coordinator, Mr. Aderemi Adeagbo has ensured we take the academy section very serious in our regime, and we have been working hand in hand with the NEB executive to carry out this project and am happy we are working towards progress, we have been able to get a new notice board for the NEB Executive and also financed them in other activities," he said.
Atapa however urged students who are yet to join the tutorial to immediately enrol, as it will enhance the performance of students in every examination.
