The leadership of National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS) Osun Axis, has lauded the exemplary qualities of the former Student's Union President of University Of Abuja who is aspiring for a member of house of representative, representing Obokun Oriade Federal Constituency, Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi over his impact for the development of education in the state.
The leadership of the NANS Osun led by Comrade Miftah Saheed Seedolf disclosed to newsmen on Wednesday that the aspirant has contributed a lot to the education sector in Osun and have directed impact on students welfare.
"Few months ago, Barr. Pelumi distributed books across public and primary schools in Ijebu-Jesa. Few weeks ago; he distributed books across schools in Owena-Jesa and environs.
"He donated a bus to Ijebu-Jesa National Students' Union last year December and yesterday gave a factory fitted alluried rims bus to Esa-Oke. Currently, he is planning to distribute 40000 books and pens across Oriade/Obokun Constituency to all students across his constituency. He is also planning to distribute scholarships before the middle of the year and pay Bursary of indigenous associations
[6:23AM and WAEC and NECO slots will soon be distributed," NANS Osun Chairman said.
The chairman however urged others who are vying for one political position or the other both this year and year to come to emulate the character of Barrister Pelumi.
