Transfer news: Arda Turan faces Barcelona exit, Khedira backs Juventus for Liverpool’s Emre Can

Turkish league leaders, Basaksehir are in talks with Barcelona to sign midfielder, Arda Turan after a troubled Nou Camp spell, the Super Lig club said on Wednesday.

“The process is continuing. I don’t think there is any problem with him but this part of the talks with Barcelona is not easy,” Basaksehir’s manager Abdullah Avci was quoted as saying in Turkish media.

“The situation will be made clear on Thursday or Friday,” he said.

Meanwhile, Juventus midfieder, Sami Khedira has urged his club to do all they can to sign Liverpool midfielder, Emre Can in this January transfer window.

“I know Emre very well,” Can told Sky In Italy.

“First of all Emre is a very good player. He is a young player, he can improve of course, he is powerful and is talented but of course he has to learn.

“And if there is a possibility that Juventus can sign this player you have to use this chance because I think he is a free agent in the summer period.

“So, if I am a manager, of course I would try and sign him,” he added.
