NAOSS frowns at proposed increment in fees of tertiary institutions in Ondo state.

The National Association of Ondo State students (NATIONAL BODY) has expressed concerns over the proposed increment in the school fees of tertiary institutions in the state. This was contained in a communique signed by Comrade Akeredolu Emmanuel the National president of the association. He laid emphasis that it is the responsibility of government to provide free education from primary to tertiary institutions.

In the article, Akeredolu shared the resolution reached by the association and some other stakeholders over the proposed increment.

We will show true unionism and solidarity which is needed to drive our union stronger and united, sequel to this we will give adequate support to the students union government of these institutions and also align with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS JCC) to address the arbitrary school fees increment. Our solidarity will always remain solid and never gaseous.

The association is also calling on all stakeholders, philanthropists, education loving Nigerians and the public to join hands with the association as well as suggest reasonable resolves that will aid the union reach better and reasonable grounds for all students.

We the executives of the association wish to sincerely appreciate all Ondo students for their support, understanding, maturity, prayers and solidarity reposed on the leadership of the association in the past months, we hereby advise students to be calm, peaceful and law abiding citizens of the society.
