Former winners Libya began their 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) campaign on Monday, with a convincing 3-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea in Group C.
Saleh Taher scored the opening goal, finishing well under a hesitant Cambio.
Mohamed Aleyat, who provided assists for all three goals, combined with Taher again five minutes later to make it 2-0.
In the 87th minute, Zakaria Alharash put the match beyond doubt, sweeping home the ball in the six-yard area.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria could only draw 0-0 with Rwanda in the other game of the group, despite creating plenty chances.
Next up for Libya is Nigeria, while Equatorial Guinea will play Rwanda. Both matches are scheduled for Friday.
