The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the arrival of Mr. Olugbenga Adeyanju as the new Commissioner of Police in the state.
Speaking with The Politico on the telephone, the police spokesman in the state, Femi Joseph confirmed the new development.
Joseph said the new commissioner of police was coming to the state with vast experience in the force,which he said was needed to ensure the state is free of criminals.
:” His is someone that has worked in virtually every segment of the police force in the country.He has worked in the administration, operations, investigation department and he has attended so many courses that has put him in good position to pilot the affairs of security in the state.
“We are going to enjoy him in the state and he is ready to hit the ground running in his new assignment,” he said.
The arrival of Mr.Olugbenga Adeyanju in the state follows the promotion of the former Police Commissioner in the state, Mrs. Hilda Ibifuro -Harrison to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police.
