The Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano , has disclosed that some of the suspects involved in the massacre of members of the St . Philips Catholic Church in Ozubulu , near Nnewi, Anambra State.
Governor Obiano said this on Monday while stressing that all those behind the attack will be made to face the law .
“We have actually picked up some of the key members ,” he said without disclosing details .
“I am confident that we are going to solve this problem and the way we handle it will show them (the perpetrators) that you can’ t import your trouble from wherever you are in Africa and bring it to Anambra State. ”
The Commissioner of Police, Garba Umar had earlier assured the people of the state to go about their normal business, stressing that the police were on top of the situation .
Umar said, ” I want to assure the people of the state that the Ozubulu incident was not a terrorist attack in the mode of Boko Haram .
“It’ s a feud between two individuals in the community. We ’ve identified some people and we shall invite them. If they refuse to come, we shall declare them wanted . We’ re on top of the situation ,” the CP stated .
