The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, Dino Melaye is not done with the ‘Ajekun Iya ’ song .
Melaye on Monday uploaded a live performance of the song , accompanied with drums. The Latest version appears to have been performed somewhere in Kogi State, discerning from the statements he made after the song .
The Senator also briefly sang one of King Sunny Ade ’ s 1974 hit , “ Nitori Awa ”.
The 43 - year- old dropped the first rendition of the Yoruba folk song shortly after the Senate committee on Ethics and Privileges cleared him in the certificate scandal.
Since then, many people including comedians , Ema OhMaGod , Gbenga Adeyinka the First and Royal Arts Ambassadors have created a parody of the song .
