Seventy thousand People of Oil Producing Communities in the Niger Delta States are to Benefit from a Joint Empowerment Scheme
Over seventy thousand (70, 000) Youths and Aged people of Oil Producing communities in the Niger Delta Region will be empowered by a Joint Empowerment Scheme which will be Coordinated by EMOTEL GLOBAL OIL Ltd Company.

The Program is an improvement in the ongoing dialogue efforts embarked upon by the federal government of Nigeria to end Niger Delta crisis. Meanwhile, the Scheme Empowerment program is to be coordinated by EMOTEL GLOBAL OIL Ltd, Oil Producing local governments in the Oil producing States (Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross-River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers State) is of the target for the Empowerment opportunities.
The program is divided into four stages, and they are:

(1) SCHOLARSHIPS
The scholarship is an award of financial aid for students of the Niger Delta Region to further their education. It is a scholarship to be awarded for the Niger Delta students to reflect the values and purposes of the Federal government and Oil Producing companies to curb drop out. Shortlisted applicant’s will receive their stipend for the specific completion of their Academic Program

APPLICANT’S INFORMATION
Applicant’s must be an undergraduate and newly admitted students into Public Schools, both Colleges of Education, Polytechnics, and Universities home and abroad in any field of study.

Copy of Admission Letter must be attached.

Those who haven’t been admitted into any institution but wanted to Forge ahead to university shouldn’t apply for this scholarship, but should apply under Skill Acquisition and indicate their specific desires on the Skill Acquisition Form’s

(2) SKILL ACQUISITION
This is a specific project for the youths of the Niger Delta Region to train them on a specific skills, for example; Carpenter, welding, Computer engineering, graphic designing, typing, hair dressing, electrical maintenance and others. O-Level Student who haven’t been admitted into any institution but wanted to Forge ahead to university should apply under this Skill Acquisition Form

APPLICANT’S INFORMATION
Applicant’s must be between Minimum age of 18, and maximum of 50 years.
O-Level Applicant’s for Studying Should also apply here.

Shortlisted applicant’s will receive their stipend till the specific completion of their training

(3) EMPLOYMENT
The Employment Program is for both graduates and the Skilled, situated in all the nine States within the Niger Delta Region.

Shortlisted applicant’s will be employed directly in different Oil companies in the Niger Delta, NDDC, NIMASA, Niger Delta State Governments, Ministry of Works, NNPC, and Ministry of Petroleum.

APPLICANT’S INFORMATION
Applicant’s must be either a graduate with minimum of NCE/ OND Result, PhD in any Academic field, and a Skilled Acquired with Certificate in any Skill, without age limitation.

Applicant’s must attach copy of Academic result for graduates, and copy of Training Certificate for Skilled Acquired.

(4) SIT AT HOME
The sit at home stipend for the Old ages is to take adequate care of the old aged people in the Niger Delta Region.

APPLICANT’S INFORMATION

Applicant’s must be between the age of 60 and above, both male and female.

Shortlisted applicant’s will receive their stipend for an unspecified period

METHOD OF APPLYING:

Printed pplication forms will be distributed to ONDO STATE at the Headquarter of each Oil Producing Local Government in the state on 10th March, 2017 and it will last for seven (7) days.

Printed Application Forms will be distributed to BAYELSA STATE at the Headquarter of each Oil Producing Local Government in the state on 18th March, 2017 and it will last for seven (7) days

Printed application forms will be distributed to EDO STATE at the Headquarter of each Oil Producing Local Government in the state on 26th March, 2017 and it will last for seven (7) days.

Printed application forms will be distributed to DELTA STATE at the Headquarter of each Oil Producing Local Government in the state on 4th April, 2017 and it will last for seven (7) days.

Abia, Akwa-Ibom State, Imo State, Cross-River State, and Rivers State will apply on our website

GENERAL REQUIREMENT:

All Applicant’s must be from an Oil Producing Local Government
Applicant’s must not apply for two different forms (e.g When you applying for scholarship, don’t apply for employment or any other).

Applicant’s must attach their local Government Origin, and one passport photograph before submitting their forms

Applicant’s must open an account with FCMB Bank, only those who have an account number with FCMB are not required to open new account number.

All Applicant’s must submit their application form’s before the closure of the program at the applicant’s local government.
