THE INTERIM JOINT MATRICULATION BOARD (IJMB)
The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), is a Federal Government of Nigeria and the Nigerian University Commission (NUC ) approved and certified programme run and examined by the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in conjunction with various tertiary institutions and different study centres all over Nigeria.
The programme is designed to provide secondary school leavers with an opportunity to gain admission into 200 level for regular degree programmes in Nigerian Universities. Students are prepared with the Advanced Level syllabus to sit for the IJMB examination and the result from the examinations is accepted by almost all the universities in Nigeria. All it requires is the candidate’s O level SSCE results. Students awaiting their O level SSCE results can also enroll. Admission into the Universities is done by applying with the IJMB result via the Direct Entry mode.
The programme runs for a period of one academic year which is divided into two semesters. Students take three subjects that are relevant to their proposed course of study in the University from one of the three major groupings of Arts/Humanities, Science and Social Science.
THE JOINT UNIVERSITIES PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS BOARD (JUPEB)
JUPEB is a Federal Government approved national examinations body established in April 2014 by a consortium of partnering universities led by the University of Lagos.
The board conducts a common and standard examinations for the candidates, who have been trained for a year on the relevant syllabus and are seeking Direct Entry admissions into University courses at the 200 Level in Nigerian and partnering foreign universities.

THE CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL EXAMINATIONS
The Cambridge A level program is one of the programs of the Cambridge international Examinations an arm of the University of Cambridge. Learners use Cambridge International A Levels to gain places at leading universities worldwide including Nigeria, the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Egypt, Jordan, South Africa, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Candidates are trained for one academic session and are then presented for examinations in three subjects relevant to their proposed course of studies. There are over 55 available subjects in the Cambridge A level curriculum for candidates to chose from.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Interested candidates should possess SSCE O Level credits in five relevant subjects at one sitting or a maximum of two sittings.
Awaiting results in SSCE O Level WAEC/NECO/NABTEB is also accepted.
Candidates with deficiency in English, Mathematics or any other subjects can also apply.
