This is my story
Of how two lasses made me look gory.
One was to me a king of queens,
Well, the other stuck to me since I was in my teens.
Now glaring fiends, and snakes on rolling spires,
Pale specters, opened tombs and purple fires.
So I say, why are beauties praised and honored most,
the wise man's passion, and the vain man's toast?
If one was 'Kinging in her Queendom',
The other was brute with freedom.
They both shot me with cupid arrow,
But one was a deep thrust, the other feigned shallow.
I am a man now with my humane will,
Yet struggling with decisions still.
Alas! Frail beauty must decay,
Curled or uncurled, since looks will turn to grey.
I am not even in that perfection zone,
But don't you think, tis evil for my heart to groan?
My heart cannot be subject to bleedings.
Albeit, in my head, I hear pleadings;
Take me to whoever I wanna be with
This time, no dealings with myth...
