Association of Nigerian DJs finally lifts embargo on Terry G

Recall that music star, Terry G, few days ago,
disrespected Dj Phreez, when he lapped the
budding disc jockey and protege of turntable
guru, Jimmy Jatt during his performance.

Following his unruly action, the DJs Association
of Nigeria (DJAN) placed a ban on the Akpako
master’s music when it instructed all DJs around
the country to stop playing Terry G’s songs, and
also demanded a public apology from the erring
singer.

Having seemingly met all the demanded
conditions of righting his wrongs, the association
has now officially announced the lift of the ban.
Below is the association’s press statement

RE: EMBARGO ON ALL TERRY G’s SONGS

The National Executives of the DJs Association of
Nigeria (DJAN) humbly appreciate the support
and cooperation of Nigeria DJs for full
participation on said subject, we are most
grateful for acknowledging the fact that ‘an injury
to one is injury to all’.

Terry G has shown a very reasonable level of
remorse and had apologized to all parties
concerned including apologizing to the
leadership of the Association at all levels.

After due consultations and deliberations, the
Deejays Association of Nigeria hereby lift the
embargo on all songs of Terry G including songs
he featured in.
