OPEN LETTER TO ALL STUDENTS' UNION GOVERNMENT (SUG) PRESIDENTS IN ONDO STATE

Protocols!

Solidarity greetings to all conscious Nigeria students from the ever gallant throne of Aluta. The Jerusalem & Mecca of revolutionary struggle for all intelligentsias who believe in the course of comradeship & have the passion to ensure an egalitarian society.

I am writing this piece as concrete evidence for posterity sake. Because of a dry morsel, you have all sold your birth right to some despoitic scavengers & political 'halleluyah boys' who profess to be loyal to your course but in your ignorance, use you to build their political image & relegate your future to nought.

Martin Luther King asserts that 'injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.' June 12, 1993 will never be forgotten in the history of Nigeria because the then miscarriage of justice had planted a tree of memory on the timeline of the nation, which if anyone tends to eat from the fruits thereof, its bitter taste will make his face wrinkle. History has repeated itself in the setting of the students again.

Back then, Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (Rtd) conducted the world acclaimed freest & fairest election in the history of Africa which Chief MKO Abiola won & later nullified for no justifiable reason. This led us to having Chief Ernest Shonekan as interin Head of State for three months. His government was later toppled by late Gen. Sanni Abacha.

I am citing this historical allusion because Nigerians kept quiet unnecessarily & our past is now hunting our future in the country.

Recently, the leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Committee [NANSJCC] Ondo Axis conducted the freest & fairest election in the history of the union which brought ATOLUSI ANTHONY DAMILOLA (ANTOZ) to power was nullified because his opponent FALEGAN SAMSON (FADA02) would not concede defeat & thereby declared a factional government.

The bid to resolve the power tussle between the duo brought OGUNROTIFA ADEYEMI RICHARD, the SUG President, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, as the interim head of the union & seconded by OYEGBOLA ADEBOLA (SUE D BASTARD), President, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko Students' Union as secretary.

Since their inception in office, OGUNROTIFA ADEYEMI RICHARD, has been parading himself as the 'authentic' Chairman of the association. If I may ask, is this not another abacharistic idiosyncracy in our student union? Will this cankerworm not kill the spirit of patriotism in our youth as it has done to our leaders in the country? Isn't this another strategic coup in the world of Nigeria students?

Napolen Hill states that "before you can control conditions, you must first fit to control yourself" is it RICHARD who has never achieved anything tangible since he assumed office. A Students' Union president who could not give students the reason why the management exploit the student. The president who has never held executive meeting since his inception in offfice as SUG president, could such a boy make amendment in NANS or our own SUE D BASTARD, a law student from the 21st Century University, properly called, the supposed defender of fundamental human rights of the citizenry who cannot defend a co-student from being deprieved of his political right, perhaps brown envelope is at play, we never can tell. Is it the SUG president who cannot manage his own students domestic affair that will clear the state off mess?

Rumour has it that AYENURO TIMILEHIN (SAFETY) the national Vice President, external of NANS and Mrs AFILAKA, SSA Appointment to Dr. OLUSEGUN MIMIKO are the brain box behind this coup.

Investigation also reveals that the OGUNROTIFA ADEYEMI RICHARD led interim government will last till the next Ondo State gubernatorial election will be conducted perhaps to mobilize the youth for PDP, & you all agree with them, leaving your future to the dictate of politician as determined by a spinning coin! What a shameless, clueless & disgrace you are to your family, respective institutions & this generation.

Do you know that this same OGUNROTIFA ADEYEMI RICHARD who alleged ATOLUSI ANTHONY DAMILOLA as being APC member, is also a member of APC? Or are you all blind to the fact that he pays allegiance to BLACKEY faction led government of the union to run a parallel government against KALUSA? Let us note that 'the democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work & give to those who would not' -Thomas Jefferson.

Like I said a while ago, in students politics today, PURITY of SPEECH, of the MIND, of the SENSE, and of a COMPASSIONATE HEART are needed by one who desires to rise to the divine platform.

However, I opine that the interim government be dissolved & recognition be given to ATOLUSI DAMILOLA ANTHONY (ANTOZ) the authentic winner of the JCC chairmanship election because justice delayed is justice denied. Say no to COME-RAID!
