It was a night of style as Christian Designers Hub

holds its inaugural Black Tie Dinner in Lagos.The event which held recently at Hotel The

Moorhouse in Ikoyi, Lagos, on the 20th of March,

2016, had in attendance pockets of Christian

creative directors of various fashion brands

personalities namely Femi James Johnson, Taryor

Gabriels, Richard Wales, Segun Moat, Effecci,

Dehinde Giwa, Pro7, Rhobes Couture, Dewberry,

Femy Toys, Wadada Couture, singer-cum-actor,

Femi Deolu Amusan and a host of other amazingdesigners.The designers dressed to the nines; stylishly clad in

their respective debonair, elegant and panache

design creations that will easily impress and awe

tie Event, the designer’s slayed in sleek design

masterpieces from old Hollywood glam looks to

exquisite tuxedo numbers, outright sophisticated

dapper expressions to sexy dresses that will leave

one drooling for days.According to the Convener of the group, Creative

director of premium fashion brand, Femi James

Johnson, ‘the platform was created for Christian

Designers coming together to network and inspire

one another, address common challenges

regarding their craft, the industry and Christian

faith.’He also stated that the platform is a means of

reaching out to their environment with the gospel

of Jesus Christ as Christian designers with the

purpose of positively making an impact.
