NIGERIAN football team got robbed by armed robbers (oga o!)

- Nigerian League club Enugu Rangers have been
robbed by armed robbers

- The robbers were said to have stolen the sum of
N4 million

- It was stated that the money is meant for
Rangers continental game
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
side Enugu Rangers have been reportedly
attacked and robbed the sum of N4 million by
notorious armed robbers.


PRODOTEAM learnt that the account department
of the team were robbed on Friday, April 7,
2017 at gun point while moving the cash from
a bank to the club's office located around
Abakaliki road in Enugu.
The money according to officials was for the
running of the first leg encounter of the
Flying Antelopes' CAF Confederations Cup tie
against Zesco United of Zambia.

There is no report of any casualty, but it was
stated that the matter is already been
investigated by men of Nigeria Police Force.


Enugu Rangers who are the reigning NPFL
champions are not finding it rosy this season
in the Nigeria Professional Football League
(NPFL) as they are currently rooted at the
bottom of the table.
