Ikale is in darkness
In darkness since you travelled
Where are you Olu?
You presence is needed
Your position is vacant
There is vacuum in your role

Your impact was felt
Our roads were tarred
Electricity was stable
None dared disconnect
Not even on any grounds
The masses were smiling
You were always there for us
Readily there to take responsibilities
All in humanitarian services.

NO one is ready
Ready to take over
Your leadership is rare
Your shoes are too big
And your legacies are expensive
None is ready to dare
Your offsprings are cowards
Apetitive in their desires
Unfortunately, unfortunately
And most disappointedly
They never saw any reason
To sustain that legacy
They rather indulge
And constantly jubilate
When they abuse, disrespect and defile that office
You sweat to build and dignified
Olu you need to come back
Your emerging clones are limited
Constrained by resources
Hindered by forces
Agents of oppression
Cowards and psycophants
Pls come Olu, come!
Come and protect them
And support them
And bless them
And elevate them
Your genuine descendants
They want good for the land
They support the good
And praise those good doers
They are glad to donate
How they wished they could do better
They are passionate
And patriotic
