All is now set for the largest gathering of Nigerian Female Students in recent time as female student leaders across the country converge in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for the National Female Students Leadership Summit.
Speaking to our reporter, the President, National Female Students Association of Nigeria, Comr. Idongesit Micah who also double as the Chairman, Central Planning Committee said that female students are in high spirit to attend the summit. Micah said, that this will be the first time in the history of this country were female students/leaders in tertiary institutions across the country are been gathered to discuss sailent issues affecting them.
According to her, "The summit will serve as a conclave for discussion of opportunities and promotion of spirit of entrepreneurship, education, health, security and economic empowerment.
She further said, that it will focus on helping female students effectively lead organisations, entrepreneurial businesses and non-profit organizations through thoughtful discussions including business development, leadership and current issues affecting womenfolk.
